Please read through this agreement fully before enquiring and let us know that you have read through this when sending through your enquiry and that you agree to the terms.

is being rehomed to you by Hounds On The Rebound.

 

Please read through carefully and sign at the bottom if you agree with the following.

 

A veterinarian certificate will be provided to you on the day of adoption as proof of desexing, vaccination and microchipping. All animals have been health checked by our veterinarian. 

Any and all veterinary costs incurred after adoption are to be handled by you at your own expense.

 

Of course dog's need time to settle in but in extreme circumstances you agree that you are given seven days from the date of adoption to return the dog to us, this process will consist of returning the dog to us where you had collected it from, the adoption fee minus $100 holding deposit and transport fee will be refunded.

Example:

Adoption fee $600

Transport fee $80

Amount to be refunded will be $500 providing the dog is in the same condition in which you adopted it.

Please note that you will not pay a second transport fee if you return the dog.

If for any reason after the seven day period you need to rehome the dog you must contact us and agree to return him/her to us without refund.

 

You must contact your local council to have the dog registered according to their policies.

 

You must also fill out the microchip registation form provided to you on the day of adoption and submit it to the address listed on the bottom of the page to have the microchip registered into the national database (this is separate from council registration and must be done to ensure the microchip can be read on all systems across Australia) This is a very important document to submit so that if your new dog should ever go missing they are able to scan the microchip and find you.

 

You agree to continue on with your pets annual vaccinations, regular worming every 3 months according to their weight and also flea/tick treatments as required.

 

You agree that you are responsible for any damage or injury caused by the pet to its surroundings or itself while in your care.

 

You understand that you are adopting a dog that is microchipped, desexed, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and health checked by our vet.

 

You agree that this dog will be in a safe and secure environment and will be well cared for, having a balanced diet, clean water always available and a comfortable sleeping arrangement...not to mention the endless supply of hugs that he/she requires ;)

 

Please consider our reasoning for this agreement, these dog's have come from pounds in which they didn't deserve to be in, nor did they belong there. Our agreement is to ensure the best possible future for them and of course to make each and every one of them happy whilst ensuring the adopter is also happy and understands our process.
